Improve Recovery

Physiotherapy can be used following surgery or injury to reduce pain and help return to optimal function. We work closely with your vet to enable your animal the best chance of making a full recovery.

Improve Quality of Life

By reducing pain and aiding in the proper movement and function of the musculosketal system, physiotherapy can massively improve your dog's quality of life so they can live a happier and healthier life.

Preventative

Whether you are looking to compete at the highest levels, or just ensure your dog is as comfortable as possible, physiotherapy can help maintain and improve muscle, joint and soft tissue integrity.

Performance

Working and competition dogs can benefit from treatment and strength and  conditioning offered during physiotherapy, allowing your dog to perform at their best and reach their full potential.

What to expect from your Veterinary Physiotherapy session...

Below we have outlined what a physiotherapy session will entail to give you an idea of what to expect. If you have any questions regarding a potential session for your dog, please don't hesitate to get in touch:

1. History Taking

In order for us to get to know your dog a little better, we ask owner's a series of questions regarding the dog's previous history and current lifestyle. Don't worry about this part, it won't be like an interview in anyway, it just helps us to gather the information we need to create your dog's bespoke treatment and exercise plan.

We also liaise with your own vet to collect relevant medical history, allowing us to work as a team and bring your dog the best possible care.
