About Me
My professional journey began when I attended Moreton Morrell College. In the three years I was there, I gained my undergraduate degree in Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation. I was also lucky enough to partake in research using the underwater treadmill and spa. Whilst attending the college, I was given the opportunity to loan one of the horses on the yard, a lovely chap called Malley, whom I owe a lot to.
I went on to complete my postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the University of Nottingham. During this time, I also rescued my first dog, Kiba! He is the life and soul of what I do and I would not be where I am today without him. Having been through the rehabilitation process with him, I understand the emotional rollercoaster that owners experience and how physiotherapy can help improve an animal’s quality of life.
Outside of work, I have a true passion for canine nutrition, most of my time is spent researching the wonderful and interesting topic! I also enjoy walking Kiba and finding new places to explore. I believe that when working with any animal, their welfare is paramount and I will always strive to work with the animal, tailoring each session to their individual needs using a positive force free approach at all times.
